As I was going through the pics of the château d’Ecouen, I saw that we had photographed more than once several windows of the château. All of this as you go up and down the stairs towards the different exhibits.
I like windows. They bring in light and air, which are basic elements that we all need.
I played with these pics and came out with surprising results:
I put a golden tint to these iron framed windows. We are looking out to the courtyard.
A classic b&w view.
And finally, a composition with a Renaissance era church stall and a nearby window.
I tinged the top part blue. The dark tones bring out the cross-like structure of the window pane. D called it “weird”, but in a good way. It does look strangely spiritual.

I like the b/w picture and the yellow tone. The effect is bluffing, it adds a new dimension!
