Tranquility

This merited a full blow up ; you elmost feel like you are there…
Yet we are in city limits of Amiens, even if it looks like we are in the middle of the countryside.

We are along the Somme river.
Come and see what we find on the river side in my next posts.

  1. Hi Ron,

Isn’t this gorgeous ?? I think that nature does some beautiful work indeed. Though Mother nature took away the sun that afternoon, which would have made this scene “perfecto”, with more light & sparkles on the water.

But… we get a more “dreamy” quality ; nice also.

I’m so glad you enjoyed !!
Hugs to you & Happy Thanksgiving.

  2. Lovely!

I’m so glad you have this new blog, it really showcases your picture and they are wonderful.

La Somme… big battle there in WWI, right? Or was it WWII? Sorry to spoil the place, it’s just my political history training taking over!

  3. Salut Zhu,

    Merci de tes encouragements.
You know, my foot was “half way in” the door at my old blog. I was conbstantly putting in travel pics. And now it’s all the time !! I’m enjoying this…
