Monkey business

Just a few looks at some of the fascinating primates that we saw at the zoo parc de Beauval.

I love these creatures…

It is no wonder that we are so closely related to the chimpanzees; her expression is almost human.

She could almost say ” grab a seat and chat a few minutes with me”.

The feeling is also relaxed with the Orangutan Mom and her kid. That has to be the most homely looking kid on the block, but still manages to make you smile.

This is a white-faced Saki that seems to be in a grooming session.

A pygmy Marmoset. It looks like the model for that “Gizmo” in the film Gremlins( if you remember that film).

Here are the Silvery Marmosets. Look at the cute ears!

And finally, the one that looks like a wise old man( or woman), the Emporer Tamarin. Check out those whiskers!

Happy weekend to you all and see you soon!

You said it! I often look at a chimp and say….”They’re HUMAN!”

I’ve never seen an Emporer Tamarin before. LOVE the whiskers!

Thank you for sharing, my friend. Enjoyed it immensely!

    Have a fab weekend…..XOXO

  2. Hi Ronnie,

It is always a pleasure to share with you and everyone. The monkey pics were fun to sort out! The birds were already a challenge to photograph, but some of the monkeys were worse. The smaller ones are in continous motion!!
Yes, the Chimpanzee baby is so sweet. 🙂
