D’s picks- Miscou island

While we were driving to get the Miscou beach and the shore area, we could not pass up this happy and funny house. There were all sorts of “red, white and blue” Acadian pride gadgets all over the yard! You saw already the house where all this is at  D’s pick’s- New Brunswick

Come and feel your child’s heart sing:

Long live Acadie!

  1. Awwwwww….look at that little boat!
And how could you not love that little church.

Yup–quirky, but obviously someone likes to work with their hands.
The opening birdie house made me smile and I have NO clue what it says!

  2. Hi Mel,
I had a feeling that this would amuse you :).
The birdies feed with the slogan ” Long live Acadia”(the region’s name). Those are patriotic birdies :).
Like I said with Bij, a labor of love. I can feell the joy.

  3. Barb, these photos put a HUGE smile on my face!

How clever and cute are they??? The third photo down looks like a tiny little village.

    LOVE the lighthouse!

  4. Hi Zhu,
Translation: ” More original and pretty than garden gnomes!!”.
I think that this is VERY original and pretty 🙂 The fact is that you can’t buy all this and someone created it all excites me a lot.
    Long live creativity!!
