Weekly photo challenge: The world through your eyes

“The world through my eyes”… This theme is actually every photographer’s “leitmotif”.

My eyes found this contrast of between the buildings in the financial district of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. This is another archived shot from last year’s HI trip.
I like these contrasts very much; vertical & horizontal, shiny & matte and different era buildings.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great week.

    1. Hey there Bij,
Sincere thanks to you! There are still some old buildings in the financial district. I don’t recall if they are all white but they are very squeezed in by their brash and shiny grandkids :).

  1. FAB photo, Barb! GREAT contrasts indeed!

I LOVE seeing two buildings sitting side by side from two totally different eras – the past mixed with the present. Philly’s architecture is so rich in that!

Happy Monday, my friend. Have a wonderful week!

    1. Hey there Ronnie,
Good morning! Many thanks you. Could you believe that I was sitting in a nearby park, looked up between bites of my sandwich and said “wow!”.
Yup; you are very true; Philly also has a beautiful mix of architecture. I have enjoyed this about Philly each time over.

Big hugs to you and see you soon.
